Eligibility to Enroll

The Federal Annual Open Enrollment Period runs from 11/1 to 12/15 each year, during which people can purchase new health insurance plans or replace their existing insurance.
Outside of Open Enrollment, you may still be eligible to enroll if you experience a qualified life event such as getting married, having a baby, losing coverage previously provided by your employer, moving, etc.

Medicare is health insurance for people 65 years or older or for younger people with certain disabilities. Once enrolled in Original Medicare, people can add a Medicare Supplement plan to cover out of pocket costs, or switch to a Medicare Advantage plan.
