The Federal Annual Open Enrollment Period runs from 11/1 to 12/15 each year, during which people can purchase new health insurance plans or replace their existing insurance.
Outside of Open Enrollment, you may still be eligible to enroll if you experience a qualified life event such as getting married, having a baby, losing coverage previously provided by your employer, moving, etc.

Once enrolled in Original Medicare, people can add a Medicare Supplement plan to cover out of pocket costs, or switch to a Medicare Advantage plan.
